Train to teach Design and Technology in the North West

Design and Technology is a practical and creative subject that pupils enjoy doing in secondary schools. It involves the investigation of human need, development of concepts and models along with making in a variety of materials from wood, metal, plastics, textiles, electronics and food.

Desing and technology is a subject that all pupils study in both primary and secondary education. Through a mixture of design activities, practical workshops and product investigations, they develop a range of skills and knowledge useful for a wide variety of jobs in the future.
